Waynesville Second Sunday Stroll
Starting the Second Sunday in May, and running through the Second Sunday in
September, Waynesville Merchants Association will again host a monthly
Second Sunday Stroll art event to promote the arts in the village. Artist,
including painters, sculptors, woodcarvers, potters, and creators of other forms
of art, are invited to participate. Individuals will be set up along the length of the
Main Street historical district.
There will be a $15 promotional fee for each Second Sunday Stroll or a
summer savings pass for $50 for all five events if paid by May 10th. All visual
arts must be original and made by the artist. The artists must send samples of
their art by regular mail or electronically to the Stroll Committee for approval.
Sign up for one Stroll or plan to attend all of the monthly Sunday events. The
Merchant Association Stroll Committee will have the final approval of all artists
and art.
Visual artists will be permitted to sell their work as well as demonstrate their
talents. Fine arts and craftsmen are particularly welcome.
Second Sunday Stroll for 2009 will be held May 10th, June 14th, July 12th,
August 9th and September 13th from 12 noon till 5pm. For more information or
