| Artists Scheduled for June 10th include: A basket weaver from Liberty Township with over 20 years experience in basket weaving and teaching. A potter from Kettering, Ohio A Dayton area painter A penny rug artist who also creates her own jewelry Jack Earley of Loveland Ohio who does acrylic landscapes and abstracts. Jack is also well-known throughout the Southwest for his sumi-e ink portraits of Native Americans. Three featured artists from Monarch Gallery of Lancaster Ohio: Vivian Rowntree who is most inspired by nature, especially the play of light and color on objects whether in landscape or still life. Oil paints are her preferred material, although she also works in pastels, water media, and printmaking. Patty Sykes whose art is mostly in oils. She paints from life whenever possible which is in in the realistic style. Her favorite subjects are landscape, florals and nature. Lisa Schorr whose most often used mediums are transparent watercolor, pen and ink, charcoal, and pencil. Vivian, Patty and Lisa are part of an arts cooperative. | 17 Artists representing a variety of mediums including photography, basketweaving, clay sculpture, pottery, jewelry, pysanky, oil & acrylics will be featured at our June event. | July's Second Sunday Stroll will be July 8th during our Waynesville Days Celebration and will include Appalachian artists in addition to other art mediums. |
