Photography Contest - August 12th
Waynesville's Second Sunday Stroll is having a photography competition
open to all photographers. The subject of the competition will be the
Historic Business District including Main Street, High Street, Miami Street
and the area surrounding Der Dutchman and Carlisle Gifts. in Waynesville,
Ohio.
The competition will be open to all photographers, amateur and
professional alike on August 12, 2007. All entries are subject to the
following:
All photographs must be taken during the period allotted for taking the
competition photography – July 1, 2007 through August 12, 2007.
Day photos and evening photos will be accepted.
Submission is limited to the 2 best photos per photographer.
All photos must be submitted with a negative or the digital equivalent.
All photos must be at least 8” X 10” mounted. (Matting and/or framing is
optional, but encouraged. Please do not have your name or company
name on front side of photo or matt)
Entry Fee ($10) and photo entries must be submitted on or before noon on
Aug. 12th. Entries can be brought to or mailed to the Red Barn General
Store, P.O. Box 743, 229 High St., Waynesville, Oh 45068 or can be
submitted on the day of the judging by bringing them to the Gazebo on Main
St. between 11am and noon on Aug. 12th (across from the Hammel House)
Awards: Best in Show Award $100; Second Best in Show $50; Third Best in
Show $50
All photo entries must be submitted by no later than noon on August 12,
2007.
All photos will remain the property of the photographer, but copies will be
furnished to Second Sunday Stroll / Waynesville Merchants Association for
use in promotional materials. Proper credit will be given to the
photographer. (Please provide a copy or scanned image if you plan to take
home your hardcopy submission)
Note: Submission of entries constitutes the entrant’s acceptance of these
terms and will be regarded as a binding contract.
